8:00 AM - 10:30 AM Door Registration (Please note: Some events start at 9:30 ......)

9:00 AM - Rules Meeting (A.O.K. Official Rules)
9:20 AM - National Anthem
9:30 AM - Black Belt Adult & Junior Specialty Will Begin
                - All Kata Divisions will begin immediately following.....    Please Don't be late......

Awards:

* 6 Grand Champion Samurai Sword Awards
    (Awarded to Black Belt Forms and Sparring for Men, Women, Executive Sparring and Junior Divisions)

* $200 Awarded to the Instructor with the most Pre-registered Students

Required Equipment: 

- Soft foam type sparring equipment and mouthpieces are mandatory in all divisions (ringstar sparring shoes are now allowed).  Men and boys must wear groin protectors.

- Regulation Karate/ Kung Fu uniforms must be worn with sleeves reaching the elbows.  Equipment will be available on the day of the event.

The 23nd Annual Cotton Belt Karate Nationals, will be held at the spacious Forney Sports Center in Forney Tx.
